[quick] professional photography

Have you ever wonder how photographers can take photos like this one? Well, I was passing by at the exact time when 2 guys were doing a photoshoot to a cup of coffee for an advertisement campaign.

As you can see, they used a EOS camera, lights and a black background, kind of professional gear for the photoshoot. I guess thats almost the same way Meronpan and other figure bloggers takes his figure photos with b/w background.

I would love to have a camera like this, it's tempting. For the setup, my studio look like it :)

@Reltair: two light bulbs minimun~~

@Seantaku: I think any camera would work good if you can set up manual settings and not just automatic.

@Lylebellule: Yeah, thats a tempting camera. Maybe some day we will have one similar.

with proper lighting, tripod and a clean background, it is not hard to take good photo even with point and shoot camera.

I'm using the DIY lightbox (with 2 table lamp) and a PnS (Lumix LX-3) for my toy reviews. http://www.bmecha.com/mecha-robot-toy/revoltech-no-074-getter-dragon-photoshoot/

That's really cool!
I guess not everyone with a really good camera qualifies for professional photography. One also needs to know how to set up and such.
