Retro Atari game catalog

Another Retro post. This time I found an old Atari vide game catalog booklet almost by accident. Were you an Atari console user? or an actual Atari fan?


Here you can see how the video console looked. Nothing compared to the newest Wii from Nintendo or the PS3 but Im sure back in those days was a total hit for teenagers. Best part was you could use your TV and load different cartridges games.

Space gamers, a classic game. You certainly needed to have a lot of imagination when playing the game if we picture the allien atack like the image in the left from the catalog that differs from the screen capture of the real game.

I must confess I dont know how to play Backgammon. Maybe some of you could help me to learn it.


Pelé's Championship soccer was an early concept from actual Fifa 2011 EA Sports game.

You could even learn Basic language programming while playing. Well looking at the games, most parents from those days didnt think computer stuff will have a big future in our life.
