Training Day

Last week, If you were wondering why the blog was a little post dry, I was giving an IT training about mantaining servers in a goverment local institution from here.

Here is the bolletin board showing the programmed activities for the day: One of them the IT training that I was giving.

I usually arrived early so I had have a few minutes to relax before class and apreciate the lobby environment and old pictures.

Look at the time. Its time to start the training. Tell me do you try to be in time for your appointments? I particularly dont like to be so late so I try to arrive at least five minutes early.

And a picture of my group of students. Half of them were older than me. At beginning it was difficult to be an IT trainer since Im young and many folks had doubts about my knowledge but Im getting used to those situations. Do you prefer a young or a older (but wiser) instructor?

Now about the blog, I have been doing some testing to update the theme template. I will try to do some changes but keeping the usefull scripts in the site. In case you are curious Im using the classic blogger templates and I will try to switch to the new blogger themes option.

So what topics do u teach them?

Older ppl are likely to pay attention. ^^

Eh, the age of whoever is teaching doesn't matter for me as long as they know their material.

I always try to be 5-15 minutes early to appointments and end up walking around outside waiting.

@Optic: was about planning Winserver 2008. I thought it too, but doesnt work in all the cases. ^^

@Reltair: Lol. I tried to avoid the waiting fooling a little bit around. O_o

It depends on the appointment. If it was for an interview or something important, I generally try to arrive about 10 minutes earlier and then wait until the exact time to show up.
If it's with a friend, I like to be 5 minutes late.
Anyway, age of instructors do not matter too much to me. If the instructor knows her stuff, it will show through.

Woooo looks like you scored big time considering the fact that you have taught some officals the art of working with a pc.

I can only imagien how hard it must be to shine with your knowledge against older people
