Recording audio books for Librivox

Last week, I've participate as a volunteer in the Librivox Project. As a volunteer, I had to record chapters of books in the public domain and upload the audio file back to the project's site.

Im volunteering for the audio sub-project of "Don quijote" (2nd part) by Cervantes in Spanish. At the moment, this is a recording project in progress, so there isnt the full book out yet officialy. The sub-project leader asigned me a section of the book (from a total of 41 sections). My section assigned was section 17.

I dont have a great voice for recording an audiobook but It was fun to record a section of the book and also it was very difficult, because the Spanish written in the book was a very old and classic Spanish that actually we dont spoke.

I wish to continue the help for this amazing project. Sadly, the Spanish traslations of good writters are limited in the Libribox project, where you can find more variety of free audiobooks spoken in English.

If you are curious about the quality of my recording voice (or if you would like to hear my voice in my mother tongue), search then the audiobook Don Quijote [Spanish] in the Librivox site. I will post later the links when the recording will be official.
