What P.E. stands for?

P.E. is an acronym used to describe physical education (sometimes denoted also as Phys. Ed.) course. Basically is gym class where students have to do exercises or practice a sport (usually running in a track field).

Ahead there is a moe image gallery featuring anime girls in P.E. uniform for your enjoyment:

In a previous post, I wrote about the "Buruma", which is specifically the athletic bloomer. In japanese culture, the complete physical education uniform is commonly known as gym clothes or "gym fuku". Do you remember our sailor fuku post?

The most classic uniform combination is a white short sleeved t-shirt paired with navy blue buruma, but other common colors are red and sometimes green.
