Lens filters

New additions for my DSLR camera have arrived: Lens filters!

Filters can be used for a number of different reasons such as reducing the light entering the lens allowing the shutter to stay open longer for slow shutter speed effects, adjusting the strength of reflections on the surface of water or simply adding more colour to an image.

Now specialized lenses are way expensive, so I bought a kit of 3 lenses for learning purposes with my camera.

The 3 filters easy explained: Fluorescent - reduce the fluorescent light effect in colors. Circular Polarizer - reduce the amount of reflection. UV - blocks ultra violet from entering the lens.

Hiyori is helping showing off the filters.
