Tanabata, Obon, Japan, Matsuri, Festival

Tanabata (also known as Star Festival) is a japanese celebration where people write down wishes (or pleads for skills) on small pieces of paper, and hanging them on bamboo, sometimes with other decorations.

Because of the festivity most people go in the night on yakata or kimono and usually there are fireworks.
